The DC group consists of games development studios in Montreal - Canada and Glasgow - Scotland. In 2003 DC acquired the business of Dream Mechanics, based in Montreal. Dream Mechanics is a provider of massively multiplayer gaming technology and has produced many on line games for many film and TV Studios.

Since forming in 1999, DC has been responsible for many hit games including Salt Lake 2002, NBA Jam 2002 and Army Men Advance (all for the Gameboy Advance), Taxi 2 and Jim Henson's Bear in the Big Blue House (PSOne) and most recently Tour De France Centenary Edition in conjunction with Konami (for PS2), and Bratz, a multi platform dance game based on the extremely successful doll franchise (GBA, PSOne and PC). DC has also developed games for mobile phones including Charmed, based on the popular TV show.

DC Studios also develops electronic toys (two of which have been released by Mattel) as well as developing games for the proprietary Toymax consoles including the hugely succesful Atari TV Games System.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

DC Studios's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2000 title, "Mia Hamm Soccer 64" (N64).

The company has been involved titles released on the PC, DS/DSi, PS2, PSP, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, PlayStation and N64.

The company's most recent involvement was on the 2007 release "Hannah Montana" (DS/DSi).
