Julian and Nick Gollop founded mythos Games in 1989. Developers of more than a dozen titles, Mythos has won high praise for it’s innovative gameplay and design. Mythos’ original X-COM title, X-COM: UFO Defense, was named one of the “10 Best Games Ever” according to PC Gamer magazine (November 1999), and its real-time strategy game, Magic & Mayhem, has won numerous awards.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

Mythos Games's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1991 title, "Lords of Chaos" (Amiga).

The company has been involved titles released on the PC, PS2, PlayStation, Amiga, ST, C64, Spectrum 48K and Amstrad CPC.

The company's most recent involvement was on the 2001 release "Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge" (PS2).
