Summary

We've all been in trouble for making a mess. It's been a long day, you've come home and just couldn't be bothered to put your trousers away, the ones you just dropped into the living room. Or, better still, you've been painting and realised just how much fun it is to cover the person next to you in the runny stuff. Well, what if you had a whole city to go at and no-one to moan at you afterwards?

Such, in essence, is the core of de Blob, from THQ and Dutch developer Blue Tongue. The evil, monochromatic I.N.K.T. Corporation (led by Comrade Black) has taken over Chroma City and is determined to drain all colour from it. It's up to you to bring the colour back and liberate the city while you are at it.

So you'll rampage through the city, bouncing off platforms, completing puzzles and blasting the walls with colour as you go. There's a deep ten-hour single-player experience, alongside the option for up to four people to get involved in split screen multi-player.

It's all presented in a crisp, cartoony and (of course) colourful style. Go on, get a bit of brightness back in your life!
