Summary

Pokemon is one of the great behemoths of the games world at this point, continually being reinvented in new ways and new genres. The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series is one such spinoff, with Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon being the latest in line to battle for our eyeballs.

It's part roguelike, part turn-based battler and part RPG, setting players loose through numerous procedurally generated dungeons on their quest for pocket-sized glory.

It begins with the player awakening to discover that they have become a pokemon. After answering a few questions you'll become one of 20 fan favourites, including Pikachu and Riolu then embark on your journey with a partner pokemon to discover what has been turning your peers into stone.

The game features no less than 720 species of Pokemon, and with ever-changing dungeons to battle through and dodge traps in, that's a ton of content at your disposal. And, as you befriend and recruit pokemon by doing things such as completing quests for them, you'll become even better equipped to handle the challenges that come your way. New to this game is the Connection Orb, a galaxy-like map that makes finding and connecting with new pokemon easier so that you can unleash devastating combo attacks! Making the right friends could mean the difference between victory and defeat...
