Mine would have been Wii too, but I'm yet to get one.

Last console I bought was a Master System, off of a friend, with 3 games, for £5. ^_^.
And before that, a Saturn Memory Card, when my Lithium battery ran out. =)

The last machine I bought was a Blu-Ray player, actually a really cool, digital photo storage with a 40 inch Hi def display, no it was a 60gb MP3 player I linked to my surround sound and Hi def TV. Yes, you guessed it I bought a PS3. Oh it plays next gen games as well.
And a few people I know have slotted in a 120Gb hard drive and are running the full Linux Monty on the damn thing.

Viral marketing?

Joji - how can you keep saying how great Wii/Nintendo is if you don't have one?

Oh I see, that was meant to be a witty response to someone saying nothing more than a few straightforward facts about the PS3, What a card you are eh?.

The point is that the PS3 is much more than a game console. I've got several albums on the drive, about five hundred photos, (the slide shows are really cool) all my PS2 game work fine with no problems. Let's get past the mundane Sony-phobia eh chaps?

Oh - so you must have one of those non-PAL, fully backward compatible models that wasn't raped internally before it's release in Europe to save Sony some pennies?

You forgot to mention that it makes a great paper weight too. Plus it's also a great source of amusement to everybody who bought a 360 months ago and saved about £150 which they could then spend on useful things like games or food (depending on personal preference obviously).

Actually I bought one from my local independent store down the road. Radicl in North Finchley. What is your problem with Sony anyway? Did Sony do something to you in your childhood?
The playground fight between the X360 v PS3 isn't worth it. People either get entrenched or move on. It's no big deal, people make their choices. Some have one, some the other, some both. Personally I don't give a damn.
