Although my first thought was to click 'you are kidding me', I actually think the Wii may be the only true games console. The 360 and PS3 are so obsessed with becoming entertainment devices, and having power and features not usually found outside a PC, its hard to call them true games consoles, or at least not pure games consoles.

Obviously, that's not necessarily a bad thing. This new focus, along with the Wii's 'expanded audience' is changing how people see video gaming, as a valid entertainment medium, rather than a juvenile waste of time. Games consoles have been capable of playing media before, but when it could be argued a better investment to buy a console for Blu-rays than for games, can it be considered a games console primarily?

The clear difference between PCs and games consoles has always been simplicity. With games consoles you don't have to worry about tech specs, or installation space. You just put in the game and play. The xbox 360 and PS3 now have updates, installation, different hardware configurations, USB compatibility and other things, which all blur the line between consoles and PCs.
