Runescape - A Ten Year Check-Up

Runescape has destroyed my son's life completely, he has flunked out of school because he spends all his time playing this game. He is now living on the streets, begging for money and lord knows what else he is doing. This game is the worst thing anyone can imagine. it should be shut down

That's a horrendous tragedy Distraught... I sympathize with you, but I'm confused why you (his parent) let it happen. I'm sure Runescape played a pivotal role, but you allowed it.

But I'm diverging from my main point. Runescape is a fantastic game, and has brought our family closer together. It is a cheap, efficient thrill to play during the weekends and my two children love the game.

Runescape is an amazing game.

you could of always just turn the internet router off or take away the computer

I appreciate the advice, I'll try to turn off the internet. Do you realize how difficult that is? What you turn off at home..is readily available elsewhere. Here's wishing you good luck, and here's wishing that if you become a parent yourself one day, you do not have to go through what Me, my wife and other child had to go through because of this stupid game. It's truly tragic that people like yourself are quick to judge when you do not know the facts. It's even worse that you think someone could switch off. This is an addiction, have you ever had one?
