Summary

Eternal life, eh? Seems to cause more problems than its worth, as far as we can see. Still, that's not going to stop the hero of Level 5's – the developer behind the Dark Cloud series – Rogue Galaxy shooting around space in search of it.

Rogue Galaxy follows Jaster, a lucky young chap who's always dreamed about travelling through space and finally gets the chance when he's recruited by Dorgengoa, a space pirate, in a race to find... you guessed it, eternal life. Unfortunately, the Daytron Corporation's after it, too, so it'll be a race across the galaxy to put together the pieces of the portal that will take Jaster to the prize.

There are 100 hours of gameplay up for grabs in this sprawling epic, with the action taking place across five worlds. To make getting between them as seamless as possible, Level 5 has opted to get rid of any load times, meaning that's 100 hours of pure galaxy-galavanting fun.

Over the course of this RPG, you'll be able to engage in action based combat with eight playable characters, with up to three controllable at any given time.

If all that's not enough, you can dig in to to minigames and quests to keep you going, or even set Insectrons (found scattered across the levels) against each other in tournaments.
