Summary

Time travel, eh? It tends to make life a bit complicated. Chronos Twin is no exception. The game brings classic arcade side-scrolling action to the DS, but it brings it with a twist.

Players will play simultaneously in two different time periods - one for each of the DS's two screens? Is that tricky enough for you? You'll need to simultaneously dodge peril in both time zones as your single character progresses through them both. As players progress and things get still trickier, new abilities - such as the power to stop time on one of the screens - will crop up to ease the tension, but don't expect an easy ride. Time travel, as we said, is a tricky beast.

The reason you're up to these pantemporal shenanigans is that, as Nec, your planet has been invaded and your brother's in need of a bit of avenging. Fortunately, as a Lledhar, you're made of good, solid and unrelenting stock.

It's all delivered in a graphical style that might look vaguely familiar to fans of Dragonball Z, with arcade-style shooting and classic platforming underlying the time travelling dual screen game mechanic.

Go on, you only live...twice?
