Summary

For most of us, Yu-Gi-Oh was a card game-based anime that happened quite some time ago. But for fans, it was a franchise to live by, and as time passed the anime evolved and progressed to new generations of deck-duelling heroes with crazy gravity-defying hair.

The 5D’s series is the latest era of the Yu-Gi-Oh brand, and with Tag Force 5 players can get an interactive look into the events that took place in the anime and manga. The game picks up with New Domino City and Satellite being reunited and living in peace and harmony.

But things start going awry again with the arrival of three mysterious characters who claim to be from Yliaster. Add a new Turbo Duelist called Ghost to the proceedings, and you get a situation that only Yusei can deal with. With the Story Mode, you can assume the role of Yusei and interact with more than 100 characters on your quest to stop the chaos.

The traditional Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s card-duelling rules are present and correct, and you can play against opponents in one-on-one duels or team up with a partner to deal double damage. Collect over 4,500 cards and customise your deck to create the most unbeatable hand yet! Full 3D animation and four-player ad-hoc wireless play is the damage-dealing icing on the cake. Snap, this game ain’t.
