Lamenting the fact that the Wii U doesn't come with support for Gamecube controllers? Apparently, it was going to - before the controller ports were removed before launch. But, there is a (third party) way around it, thanks to a peripheral company called Mayflash.
For $16.99, you can purchase an adaptor that plugs into the bottom of a Wii Remote, offering one Gamecube controller port. As the Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii games - and certain Wii games, like Super Smash Bros Brawl, allow the use of Gamecube pads - this can be seen as a rather nice godsend.
The adaptor has a number of extra features too, like a Turbo button and the ability to customise your controller's button layout. It's said to offer compatibility with Wii classic controller and Wii classic controller pro games as well. Get it here, at Amazon
