I've seen a 3rd party WiiMote rip off running on a 360 but was informed that it actually works on the PS3 and also the Wii (somewhat un-necessary).
It had more accurate accelerometers than the WiiMote and a positioning system that knew where it was in 3D space (which the WiiMote does not do) potentially making it a lot better than the WiiMote, but it was let down by a slow reading rate from the controller that was further reduced when running more controllers at the same time to the point where 4 player would in real world situations be useless.
The company was trying to flog the hardware to either Sony or MS to sell as a 1st party solution so any of these rumoured bits of kit could be this device. Time will tell.
At this point it would be very hard for it to become a mainstream device for the console and would only be seen as an extra so im all for 360 and PS3 having PS60Mote as the Wii completely dropped the ball on Graphics and the Hardcore as far as im concerned.
I'm 97.5% sure that I saw a lightsabre type device running on a PS2 at ECTS years and years ago.
Saying that, it might have been an EyeToy and it was just that the camera was tracking the lightsabre, but I can't remember enough about this story to make it any more worthwhile than that.
That's 30 seconds of your life I've just stolen from you, and you'll never get it back.
Wish they put the BC back into PS3.....I want that more.
Seconded. Issues of space, cash and convenience mean that I don't want my PS2 still being around before I consider a PS3. It'd be a great move for new owners if they reintroduced it, but it make the marketplace look a bit messy (messier).

Seconded (Secondment) = to transfer (a person) temporarily to another job. but then im just being pedantic.

errr, no you aren't...any pedant worth his salt would not only know what seconded means and that it was indeed used quite correctly, they'd also have capitalised "I'm" and not failed to omit the proper punctuation...'course an orthodoxical type might not even use contractions at all, but I AM just being pedantic.
You have disgraced the name of pedants everywhere and forced me to agree with schnide, I'm not sure which I resent more...
