FIFA 10 - Huge Patch Described

Why dont they tell you there are faults and you need to download patches to play the game. Bought a PS3 a week ago with the main reason being fifa..... took a couple of days off to get stuck into the game manger mode..... bam glitches hit. Is it too much to assume that they warn you over glitches when you purchase the game/console. So thats £200 pounds in lost wages, to play a game that doesn;t function..... no point in manager mode if you cant sign players or renew their contracts. Will EA reimburse me for the waste of time that could have been spent earning.......

The internet update/patch system that has come with the next gen consoles has led to developers being able to release shoddy unfinished games, with us muppets paying £50 to test these games.....

@D.Isgruntled so f**king damn ameteur made...i can play man mode for a season or 2 without any problems but then suddenly one day i can´t load the saved manager mode game it freezes, sad when you have worked crotone from serie b to 4 stars... this was my 3rd try making a manager game, so in fact this is 100% useless for me... It is way beyond normality that you act so monkey allike, fix the damn bugs you f**king assholes!!!!!!!

@Wilson Same thing happened to me...I have won every tournament every season and now my budget is neg 2 BILLION...plus every time I win a championship the players celebrate and s**t but there's no trophy!!!

Decided to go for the achievement of winning a cup/league with a 1 star team or lower. Ankaraspor seemed the best bet as I should have an easy time completing the achievement of 'making a 5 star team from less than a 2 star team in less than five seasons' too with them already being in the top league in Turkey. However, every single offer is scoffed at by the club or is ridiculous apparently, even if its gigantic. Experienced the shortlist problem in my first MM game with Leeds, but there doesn't seem to be any way around this one. Can't believe they released this and I can't believe they haven't released another patch to fix the remaining bugs.

Were can we find this damn patch?

I get the same problem when i play with Aldershot.........i have 40 million odd and cant buy a single player :( - nayone know how to get round this one?

I've experiences the same problem as many. Upon entering my eight season (3 for Chelsea, 1 Aston Villa, 4th for Real Madrid), after obviously a lot of time put in, I start the season with a Club Budget of roughly -£2bn and a wage budget of -£400,000. Great. So now I cannot buy any staff upgrades nor add any more players to my team, I'll just have to watch them grow old and retire. This game is full of glitches which have not been patched and it is frankly unacceptable. I paid for a broken product and feel like trying to get my money back. Seriously thinking about boycotting Fifa 11 and going back to PES.

FIFA i all f&*ked up. i am playing a manager mode with nottm forest and am in season 9 and there are like 4 portsmouth teams, now and 2 hull city's and i think a few stoke city's. they keep duplicating an duplicating. usually if a tem agets relegated, it will magically return the next season in doubles, leaving only one space for an actual new team to be promoted. pretty much it seems like the game cant handle the whole promotion relegation thing an dgets confused and never wants things to change from season to the next..;. so u'll pretty much never see a team out of the ordinary in the premiership...well once middlesbrough went up but thats it..and its annoying when u play portsmoth like 3times in a row in the FA cp and so on and so forth... please fix this!

I agree, Manager Mode is the only reason I buy the game too. I feel pretty damn stiffed. Players you've spent millions on just disappear without even an email? WTF?!?!?!?!?!
