SPOnG: We played about three different modes; Deathmatch, Infestation and Predator Hunt mode. Any more features in the game that you can talk to us about?

David Brickley: Yeah, most definitely. We have a mode called Survivor which is the updated Skirmish mode – which is you going after wave after wave of increasingly different and difficult Alien AI. You can do that in a four-player co-op. The deathmatch, obviously, was a bit of a surprise for us because we kind of forgot about it when it came to presenting it today! There are other modes too that take advantage of the various maps, and plays on teamwork in different ways too.

Eric Miller: There are going to be seven multiplayer modes, and we'll be revealing more very soon. So far you know about four of them.

SPOnG: With Star Wars Battlefront 3 now looking for a developer with Free Radical no longer around, you guys have been the favourite to take on the project. Do you have any response to that?

David Brickley: We're bloody busy on AvP at the moment, basically. We've got our hands full making just this one game. There's no question.

SPOnG: Three movie franchises would be a bit too much at once right?

David Brickley: [Laughs] exactly, yeah.

SPOnG: If the opportunity did arise, would you be eager to be on board with such a project?

David Brickley: Well, thankfully we have a very good relationship with LucasArts. I hope that relationship continues.

Eric Miller: And the Asura engine is cross-platform, we've done two PSP Star Wars Battlefront games, so in some ways the core tech is already there. Should LucasArts choose to pursue that with us then... that's not only above my pay grade, but it's also the decision of both LucasArts and Rebellion.

SPOnG: Thanks a lot for your time!

David Brickley: No problem, thanks!

Eric Miller: Thank you.
