Wave Race - Game Boy

Wave Race for the Gameboy is a fast Jet Ski based racing game. Do you have the skill to make it all the way to the end and win the championship? Wave Race has multiple game modes to choose from. You can take part in the circuit races where you have to accumulate points over several races. The rider with the most points at the end of the season wins. Alternatively, the slalom mode requires you to navigate through buoys in the fastest time possible. This mode can be quite tricky but will help you learn how to take corners without losing too much speed.

Learning the racing line will help tremendously towards winning those races. If you veer too far off course it will slow you down and probably lead to you being overtaking. Watch out for waves that can make it difficult to steer. You have a limited amount of boost to be used throughout the race. By timing it right it’s possible to use this to your advantage and nip into the lead at the last possible second.

If you manage to come first in the championship, new classes become available to race. This means that the speed of your Jet Ski is increased and the competition becomes progressively harder. Practice hard and victory will be yours.
