Summary

Based in a medieval setting, Soul Fighter offers a choice between arcade or adventure modes. You select to play one of three characters, Altus, Sayomi or Orion, each one offering over one hundred different motion-captured moves.

You fight against forty-four half-human, half-beast enemies across five worlds, spanning twelve levels in order to save the kingdom of Gomar from it's evil spell.

As you journey unrestricted through the levels you learn to master fighting techniques and combo moves in preparation for the showdown with the respective level's bosses. Energy pick-ups, magic, gold and hidden long-range weapons are yours if you can find them, and will help you on your way.

Soul Fighter's fluidity and clarity really shine through thanks to the Dreamcast. It looks and plays fantastically well.
