Summary

MTV Sports: Snowboarding sets new standards for snowboarding games by providing bigger air, more terrain and more tricks in a game that is set to music from some of today’s hottest bands! Choose to board as one of 7 outrageous characters - each with their own distinct style, taunts and stunt moves - in 5 separate events, including Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Big Air. Try out your skills on 5 varying mountain terrains in countries from around the world, or compete against a friend in the frantic multi-player mode. Still want more? Try designing your own, custom-made downhill course using the exclusive Create-a-Park option! With actual licensed equipment and apparel, this title has got so many options that it will please even the most die-hard boarders!

MTV Snowboarding feels great when you are carving and cruising, but it disappoints when it comes to pulling tricks. It's somehow is just not a responsive or intuitive as Cool Boarders. Also, perversely for an MTV game, the soundtrack is hardly stunning, and the front-end design is positively super-uncool when compared with Cool Boarders hip and MTV-esque intros. Promising, and the design your own level feature is positively great, but UEP's Cool Boarders still holds the crown for PSX Snowboarding games.
