Summary
Strategy management games have been a popular genre in recent days, particularly since the success of the PC format. Some of these titles, such as the Populous and Sim series have done much to fuel these game types into the mainstream population of the non-strategy loving PC owners. One of these more recent releases, and from the creators of Caesar 3, is Pharaoh. You must take you city through the old, middle and new ages of Egypt
Contradictory to its date of release, Pharaoh actually takes place in ancient Egypt, dating as far back as the BC years. Now, many of you will be aware of just how complicated strategy games can be. Thankfully the developers took this into consideration, and as a result have created a tutorial for inexperienced gamers. Also, there are a number of difficulty settings to increase the level of challenge for those of you confident and experienced enough. Once you feel you know how the game is structured, you can go into the game proper. There are three campaigns to take part in across 30 scenarios in which you must attempt to obtain your ultimate goal: to be Pharaoh of your royal blood.
