Summary

Remember “Honey I shrunk the kids?” Well this is “Honey I mutated the insects and now they’re coming to destroy the planet!” Buck Bumble is all about a tiny little bumblebee that goes by the name of Buck. Many years ago, round about now, there was a toxic spill! And years later, the bug life began to mutate, and it’s up to you, Buck Bumble, to save the bug world from devastation!

You are equipped with a whole range of bug-sized weapons with which you must destroy Killapilla’s and the likes. Not bad for a bug huh? You must shoot you way through a gruelling, twenty bug infested 3D levels to reach the Queen of “The Herd.” Naturally, you wouldn’t be expected to kill all these mutant bugs without any protection, so Ubi Soft decided to give Buck a little armor suit to protect himself. Just as well, considering all those MK1 Wasp Units.

The bugs controls are a little fiddly, so you need to have a steady thumb if you want to see your giant bug friends dead. And, if you’re feeling really quick on your wings, you can attempt time-based missions to give yourself those extra few points.

A drop in the ocean for Ubi Soft, but a fun title nevertheless.
