The game plays in a Pokemon style with a top scrolling view around various cities in Cardfighter world. The idea is to manage and evolve a deck of cards made up of characters from SNK and Capcom's fighting games. As you play card games you call upon the special moves of the characters in your deck, each of which has the equivalent priority to the actual 2D game.
