ZZoom's gameplay was simple - planes zoomed up to you, shoot them and they explode. Careful work was done by the designer to ensure the 3D plane transitions were fast and smooth. Although graphically pleasing, the actual gameplay soon got repetitive. Those who say today's games lack the gameplay of yesteryear forget ZZoom, which was beautiful but soon got boring.
