Summary

Card games are usually a form of entertainment restricted to the tabletop, and some diehards insist that it should stay there. But there are advantages to having these games on a PC. For one, you’ll never have to shuffle a deck of cards again, and that can’t be a bad thing. While Uno is not the oldest card game available, it’s still as playable and as simple as the rest.

The objective of Uno is a simple one - to get rid of your own cards. The first player to accomplish this seemingly easy task is the winner. However, to be rid of a card you must match either the colour or the number to that on the main playing pile. If you don’t have the right card you are forced to acquire further cards until a match can be found.

Rules aside, there are a few extra features hidden in the interactive version of the game. Exclusive Spy, Shark and Mutant cards are among them, varying gameplay a little from its tabletop counterpart. Also, there are a variety of themed playing areas to choose from, including Space and Circus themes. Extra skill levels and a multi-player LAN option make the PC version of Uno the most comprehensive to date.
