Summary

MTV’s Daria initially appears to be one of the dullest cartoon animations ever to be created. But after watching a few episodes, her sarcasm and views on life become novel and refreshing to say the least. Nevertheless, she is now a well-known character that even has her own video game based upon her teenage midlife crisis. In Daria’s Inferno, you will be faced with the horrific prospect of participating in one of Daria’s nightmares.

Daria’s nightmare will take you on a comedy quest to save her hometown of Lawndale. You will view and experience the adventure of high school through her cynical and unenthusiastic eyes. You will begrudgingly voyage through the five circles of Daria’s netherworld, in which she is trapped. But your only hope of waking her is to solve the mysteries of Ms. Li’s missing assets.

Daria’s Inferno primarily consists of simple tasks, such as solving puzzles and mazes, blended with Daria’s sharp-witted attitude and droning commentary. There are more than twenty locations to visit in all, but be careful not to become trapped in them for all eternity. All environments are fully interactive and are bursting with funny animations that are typical of the TV series. Searching for clues to the mystery, you will come across and interact with many popular characters from the series.

Daria’s Inferno is related more to an interactive cartoon than to a video game, giving it a familiar feel to fans of the series.
