Disney's popular underwater adventure returns in The Little Mermaid II, but this time the drama starts above the ocean waves. Ariel has traded her fins for life on land with Prince Eric and their beautiful daughter, Melody. But Morgana, the evil sea witch, wishes to harm the infant, so Ariel has decided to build a wall around her castle to protect Melody from the sea. But despite her mother's preventative measures, Ariel cannot deny her daughter's mermaid heritage, and the little one is soon drawn to the sea, unbeknownst to Ariel.

As the innocent Melody plays off the shores of her coastal home, she unwittingly befriends Morgana, and becomes a pawn in the witch's evil plot to overthrow king Triton and gain control of the seven seas.
