Summary

City Crisis is the first helicopter-based action game for the PlayStation 2. With arcade style gameplay and killer graphics, City Crisis looks set to become another smash hit for Sony’s new console. If you think you can keep cool under pressure, then step up to the challenge.

City Crisis is essentially a mission based search and rescue simulation. Your missions will involve dangerous tasks such as saving civilians from burning buildings. This can be tense because if you’re not quick enough, innocent people will die. After all of the people have been saved, you can act as a flying fire engine and douse the flames from the air.

City Crisis has an excellent control method for a console helicopter game, effectively utilising both analogue sticks for movement and altitude. Once you have committed the controls to memory, making your helicopter perform complex movements is a joy.
