Summary

Peter Pan’s archenemy, Captain Hook, is on a futile quest for revenge and he’s stolen Neverland’s fairies. Without pixie dust, the forever-young cheeky chappie has lost his ability to fly. Now that the odds are far more favourable, Hook sets out to destroy his grounded rival and get hold of Neverland’s treasure trove of goodies.

Neverland is your playground, and you must set out to locate the 16 missing pieces of the lost treasure map of Skull Cove and beat Hook to the treasure, while avoiding his minions. Your journey will see you travelling to many familiar locations that include Crocodile Creek, Cannibal Cove, the Skull Rock Caves, and even Captain Hook’s own ship.

The game world of Peter Pan is in 3D and boasts the usual graphical touches offered by PlayStation 2. Smooth animation, detailed textures and some lovely magical effects all help to make this fantasy world a little more believable.

Your adventure will see you adopting many different gameplay styles as you learn to solve puzzles and tackle hazardous enemies and bosses. There’s also a little platforming action thrown in for good measure.

Legend of Neverland is a great game that authentically recreates one of Disney’s most magical environments.
