Summary
Masters of the quiz genre, Hothouse Creations, the folks behind the hugely successful Who Wants to be a Millionaire? series are back with a follow-up to Sky Sports Football Quiz, the game that had footy fans wondering exactly how knowledgeable they really were. And if it’s a Sky Sports Football Quiz, do we get the lovely Kirsty Gallacher posing the questions again? Oh yes.
The formula seen in the first instalment of Sky Sports Football Quiz is repeated here, but with thousands more questions. Despite being released just a matter of months after the original, there are no duplicate questions here. Half a year is a long time in football, after all.
With Sky Sports Football Quiz 2, you get four different game modes: League Championship, in which you play your way though a full season; Penalty Shootout, a quick-fire trivia round; Man Of The Match, in which you take turns attacking and defending by answering questions; and Dream Team, which we won’t spoil for you right now. Suffice to say that there is plenty of depth and longevity with Sky Sports Football Quiz 2, and with a few select friends, i.e. those who know (or think they know) the beautiful game inside out, top-notch entertainment is guaranteed.
