Summary

Taking on the role of Robocop himself, Alex Murphy, players must protect the citizens of crime-ridden Detroit City from dealers, gangs of cyborgs and renegade robots. The plans of crimelords have to be disrupted, and the corrupt executives at Omni Consumer Products (OCP) and the omnipresent conscious central computer MIND have to be taught a lesson or two in lawful behaviour, the Robocop way.

Murphy comes complete with infrared vision, telescopic zoom and a huge range of weapons, including the Beretta, automatic rifle and rocket launcher. Robocop on Xbox features 15 levels based on the locations from the film series. The game is full of jazzy visuals and deafening sound effects, designed to keep you interested as you carry out your investigations. The film version of Robocop was famous for its crash-bang-wallop attitude to law enforcement: the Xbox incarnation features some more thoughtful, Columbo-style gameplay in amongst all the fireworks.

Developer Titus Interactive's exploration of Detroit's inner-city slums isn't pretty - but we mean that in the nicest way possible. Robocop'll rock your Xbox for sure!
