Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 - Xbox

With this series of games almost into double figures, swarming all over the PlayStation and PC, Electronic Arts had some work to do to persuade the average punter that what they needed was another instalment of Need For Speed. That work, we are happy to report, has paid off handsomely with the arrival of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. The smell of burning rubber? Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for the Xbox puts you behind the wheel of the world's fastest cars; Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Vauxhall(!) and the aforementioned Jaguar amongst others, all lovingly-rendered in great detail and at your disposal to race on dozens of courses. You can race against a friend in two-player mode, or go up against up to seven computer-controlled competitors, but you have to keep your eyes peeled for the police - they're smart, they're well equipped, and they're determined to stop you, whatever it takes.

The Hot Pursuit Ultimate Racer tournament dares you to outrun the law, as well as giving you the opportunity to be the cop that stops the boyracers, in a number of driving challenges. The World Racing Championship mode pits you against the world's fastest cars and talented drivers in a series of challenging situations, with no interference from the law.
