Summary

Published by Jaleco, World Championship Pool 2004 is developed by the makers of World Championship Snooker 2003 - the masters of cue, ball and baize physics, Blade Entertainment. The game is pitched as a pool sim for everybody – from casual players the most die-hard pool addict, to play in real and fictitious venues, unlock novelty tables, unusual sets of balls and specialist cues.

Real 3D graphics and physics bring the game to life, with famous commentators describing the action. Beginners can use the aiming mode to get to grips with the game, pros can customise their characters to meet their own requirements, and the game features real-life pool stars. Would be sharks can play solo or multiplayer, Xbox and PS2 versions feature online play, and six different game modes are included; not only a Career mode to prove yourself in, but eight and nine ball pool, even snooker and fun game modes where you can try out trick shots, and bonus games like Minefield, Countdown, and Target Table.

World Championship Pool 2004 gives you all the satisfaction of your favourite pub skill game in your own home, and you don’t have to worry about how your choice of shot might be limited by elbow room.
