Summary

Enter Telon, a world desperately in need of heroes. Someone needs to step up. And the chances are gamers will, in their thousands.

Telon's a troubled world. Its diverse peoples face the challenges of a war-torn land as they struggle to rebuild their fallen civilisations. To the North the sprawling hills of Thestra are besieged by a terrifying un-dead menace. The Southern deserts of Qalia are rampant with an elemental menace hailing from the deepest, darkest pits of the Earth. In the East things aren't looking much better: the jungles of Kojan are plagued by otherwordly threats attempting to stake their claim.

Gamers must join together in this epic, expansive world designed by fantasy artist Keith Parkinson. They must form balanced groups in order to work together to bring peace in a world teetering on the edge of disaster.

Teamwork is key, with developers stressing interdependence as crucial to success. Players must choose from one of four classes, each with their own roles and responsibilities, to create their character. Choose to be a defensive fighter, an offensive fighter, a healer or an arcane caster. Then pick from one of 19 races and 15 professions to customise your creation and join a well-balanced group.

Whether you choose to be a Paladin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Psionicist, Bard, or Rogue, you'll get the opportunity to travel the world, find a place in the economy and create a living space.

Specific professions will prove crucial to certain missions. You may find yourself in need of diplomacy skills to gain the audiences you need to even begin a mission, for example.

Developer Sigil games is touting a dynamic combat system that will allow you to build chains of attacks including openers, bridges and powerful finishing moves.
