Summary

America's Army: Rise of a Soldier is the most authentic military console game to date, built in partnership with the U.S. Army and offering players the most true-to-life Army experience, allowing them to create a soldier and take him through the thrills and adventure of an army career. The exclusive U.S. Army License means that real Special Forces operatives consulted with the game's designers to ensure the highest level of realism possible. Authentic weapons, equipment, and combat situations come straight from the U.S. Army subject matter experts.

The game features both intense single-player missions and high-adrenaline multiplayer action, allowing players to build the skills of their soldier and advance him through his career – from recruit to Special Forces team leader. America's Army has no linear campaign design; players can choose their own career paths, either focusing on certain army roles (marksman or grenadier for example), or experiencing different roles in their goal to achieve Special Forces qualification.

Quick reflexes, strategic planning and the use of teamwork are necessary, nay mandatory, for players to succeed in army missions, where players are plunged into ultra-realistic combat scenarios. America's Army also offers a multiplayer experience with up to 16 players online as well as split-screen co-operative play mode. Career mode is also a feature of online play, which allows players to create and build online characters.
