The King of Fighters NeoWave - PS2

For classic 2D fighting fans, King of Fighters has been a firm favourite amongst the NEOGEO collective. Now, on the PlayStation 2, Terry Bogard and co. return in KoF: NeoWave, the first game in the fighting series that is not based on NEOGEO technology.

SNK has stuck to its popular 3-on-3 battling system which has proved a hit with fighting aficionados in the past, and with 43 characters to choose from, the different combinations of teams you can build is monstrous. NeoWave also marks the return of several familiar faces in the King of Fighters series, so die-hard followers can rest easy in knowing their favourite battler will return. Special features not available in the arcade version can be found within the PlayStation 2 outing, adding a bit of longevity to the game.

NeoWave also features a brand new fighting system which provides special fighting styles for players of all skill levels so that weaker combatants have a bit of a chance. The many different styles of battle, including Super Cancel mode and Max 2, along with attack and defence manoeuvres means King of Fighters: NeoWave has the potential to be full of depth for those that seek more in their bouts. more
