Summary
In 2326, rival gangs form an ultra-violent sports league called Speedball to settle their deadly disputes. In this explosive mix of speed, skill and power, two heavily armed (and armoured for that matter) teams face off against each other for the steel ball, a scoreboard of points, and ultimate victory. With bone-crunching tackles, brutal body-checks and dirty tactics a go-go, there's no holding back in the brutal world of Speedball.
Speedball 2 Tournament is a Steam-powered game (quality built in right there, folks) and 32 teams compete for the championship, including the original 16 teams created by the Bitmap Brothers. There's an International league and ranking system as well as Knockout and Tournament modes, and Classic mode with ye olde single-button control for the old schoolers.
The Internet provides access to an online community platform for forum chat and player and clan profiles, as well as a multiplayer facility for one PC, LAN or online. You can also customise your own players and teams.
