Summary

We can somehow picture gamers of a certain age on picking up a copy of Namco Museum REMIX (NMR) musing along the lines of, "Well, it looks like one of our favourite old arcade games, but it sure doesn't play like one". It's the fault of the Wii of course: the Wii Remote changes (almost) everything. One constant is, however, the non-diminishing fun factor. NMR includes a whole host of arcade classics and not-quite-classics in familiar and new guises, including Galaga, Gator Panic, Rally-X and a couple of variations on the Pac-Man theme. These aforementioned are the titles that have been 'remixed' for NMR, and make great use of the Wii Remote control. For more traditional types who prefer to mix it up old school (ahem) ageing nostalgia glands will throb with joy at the mention of Galaxian, Dig Dug, Mappy, Xevious, Gaplus, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Mania and Cutie Q. Like we said earlier, NMR includes a whole host of arcade classics and not-quite-classics. Cutie-Q - enough said.

There's room for up to four players in certain NMR games too, with the opportunity to race against friends in Rally-X Remix and steal as many flags from your opponents as possible, or you can team up to destroy the invaders from space in Galaga Remix.

Pointing and waving was never more exhausting than with Namco Museum Remix.
