The past is brought to life in The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific, an authentic wartime game experience, as players relive famous conflicts carried out on the intense and bloody World War II battlefields. The stories are told through the eyes of an American GI, with the game featuring heart-stopping action, real weapons of the time such as sub-machine guns, sniper rifles, anti-aircraft guns and grenades, and documentary video footage courtesy of the History Channel itself, as players fight through a variety of territories including Guadalcanal, the Philippines and Iwo Jima.
