Summary

Lightsaber fighting comes to the DS! Set between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Jedi Alliance tells an original story about a shipment of Lightsaber crystals that goes missing in the time of the Clone Wars feature film and TV series. In fact, if you get a kick out of the canonical, animated take on Star Wars, you're in for a treat, because this (along with Light Saber Wars) marks the start of a new Clone Wars series of games.

You take control of two Jedi from a pool of six warriors, so you can team Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi together if you wish, or perhaps the ever-awesome Mace Windu with the lesser-known Ahsoka Tano. Your choice of characters will affect the way you play each level. You can develop more powerful attacks and abilities by combining the strengths of the Jedi warriors. You can also go back and re-play the level with a different team to open up new areas and collect new secrets.

Boasting the Clone Wars film's highly stylised design and voice-overs provided by the cast of the TV show, Jedi Alliance fills in some more of the blanks between the main films. It also provides an all new experience of lightsaber combat with its DS-specific controls.
