Summary

Cate West is a budding crime writer with a strange gift - she is plagued by psychic visions, which end up being handy in solving various mysteries. She just doesn't know it yet.

Her home town of Arcadia City is rife with crime, with seemingly unsolvable mysteries that lead the police in circles. The perplexing cases have been dubbed "The Vanishing Files" and an exhausted local enforcement team enlists the help of Cate to see if her 'gift' can prove to be the key to solving these criminal riddles.

The Nintendo DS version of Cate West: The Vanishing Files brings the same high-resolution interactivity to the handheld as its Wii counterpart, using the stylus to identify clues, find pieces of key evidence, spotlighting potential criminals and using the evidence you find to recreate a crime scene in a court of law. The more cases become solved, the more is revealed of the mystery that binds the enigmatic Vanishing Files together.

There are 15 chapters in all, each split into these five different puzzling segments, allowing for many hours of super sleuthing fun. With so much to do, and a lot of interactivity involved, Cate West: The Vanishing Files is likely to be just the crime scene investigation you need.
