Summary

We might be stuck in the UK, where summer consists of two damp days in the middle of August, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to get a little bit of enjoyment from the allegedly sunniest of seasons.

World Championship Sports: Summer focuses in on classic sunshine pastimes of tennis, beach volleyball, golf, soccer, baseball and football. Players will be able to customize their characters and play through a variety of exciting games in single player mode. In addition, multiplayer mode will allow up to four players on Wii, where players can compete through All-Star skill challenges and cooperate through team-based play.

To build on your skills, test your athletic prowess with a range of All-Star challenges, including home run derby, hotbox, corner kicks, golf target drive and many more. In single player mode, you are a sports prospect receiving training at the world-renown Pro Center. Receive guidance from the sage Coach and hone your athletic prowess on court, field, course, sand and diamond.

In multi-player mode, compete against 3 others in a variety of drills and exercises in intense simultaneous gameplay. Players will use the Wii remote to swing a baseball bat, golf club, or a tennis racket, throw a football or baseball, spike a vollyball and kick a soccer ball in motions that are intuitive, interactive and fun.
