Summary

It seems you can never get away from The Secret Saturdays cartoon series, which is no bad thing for kids who are into the whole Cryptozoology thing. Inspired by classic Hannah Barbera cartoons and including a hint of Indiana Jones, The Secret Saturdays involves a family of adventurers that search for and protect the knowledge of legendary creatures in the world.

Beasts of the 5th Sun takes a direct cue from the animated series, where the entire Saturday family - Zak, Drew, Doc, Doyle and their pet Cryptids (legendary animals or creatures) Zon, Komodo and Fiskerton - battle against the evil V.V. Argost to stop him from taking advantage of the world’s Cryptids.

10 levels await you in the form of various environmental and mythical locations - from red hot volcanic areas to dangerous jungles and lost undersea cities. You can use the abilities of any of the Saturday family, or call the aid of your Cryptids to fly, swing, pole vault and battle enemies.

While you protect the knowledge of the Cryptids from the public to maintain a safe environment, you can engage in your secondary activity - discovering brand new Crpytids and logging them in your Cryptipedia. Away from the intense action you can enjoy, puzzle elements will allow you to find hidden creatures and even find new routes through the levels.
