Summary

The gaming visionary behind Sonic the Hedgehog, NiGHTS into Dreams and Billy Hatcher, Yuji Naka, has created yet another darling character under his new studio, Prope. This time around, players will be looking after a cute little chick known as Ivy the Kiwi. Still yet to fully come out of her shell, Ivy gets separated from her mother and goes on a journey to search for her.

Players actually don't have direct control of Ivy – she will keep walking in a straight line across beautiful 2D landscapes that look like they've been taken straight out of a weathered children's book. To get Ivy to her goal, one must create and manipulate vines that allow Ivy to traverse over dangerous environmental hazards and other enemies.

Using the Nintendo DS stylus to draw a line on the screen in any direction will result in Ivy interacting with it in some way. Create a bridge so she can cross a pit of spikes, construct a diagonal line and wait until she approaches it before flexing the middle of the vine and bouncing her upwards, or start drawing on a specific spot, hold onto the vine and rotate it to push Ivy around 360-degree hazards.

With over 100 stages to tackle, it's going to be a long road to get Ivy back to her mother, but the heart-tugging storyline will make you want to take that journey with her.
