The games industry owes a lot to Atari. Without it, we probably would have never seen the medium take off the way it did. Affordable, accessible computing was available to the masses during the 1970s, and classics such as Pong, Centipede, Asteroids and Tempest led that charge. Each game includes the original game manuals, the same pick-up and play controls as their arcade and Atari 2600 counterparts, and various modern updates that takes advantage of the Nintendo DS wireless functionality. 20 games will have the power to connect to other DS consoles in Single Card play, and head-to-head games are available in multi-card play.
