We all have the power within us to be inspiring little artists, and now there’s a peripheral that will let you harness that power, become greater than Leonardo Da Vinci and make a name for yourself on the global art stage! Well, you might have to do a bit more work to do the last two, but THQ’s unique uDraw GameTablet - along with the uDraw Studio software - will certainly help you unleash your creative side.
The GameTablet allows you to slip your Wii Remote into the side of the plastic case, and comes with a draw pen - meaning you can take advantage of the same motion control mechanics of the Wii whilst benefiting from an accurate drawing pad. The intuitive nature of the product and the tutorials included with uDraw Studio means that it won’t be long before you start creating your own artistic masterpieces.
And there’s a whole range of options to choose from. Over nine unique painting and drawing modes allow you to draw simple lines with the pen, and then add character by transforming the function of the touchpen into an airbrush or piece of chalk. Like many computer paint programs, you can also easily create straight lines, colour shapes in with the fill tool and bring a bit of class to your piece with a library of over 100 stamps.
Save your creations, build up a string of art pieces to create animations in the Replay mode, and share your work with friends by accessing the Wii’s SD card to import the picture to a computer to show friends and family.
