There’s no better excuse for a chocolate treat feast than Easter. So why not celebrate the confectionary egg-scoffing occasion with a festive game that also packs in more than you can chew? Based on the film of the same name, Hop challenges you to action stages, adventure fields and even puzzle levels in one game. Now that’s a treat.

Just like the movie, the game centres on E.B., the teenage son of the classic Easter Bunny. He is called to take on the duty of his father and put aside his lifelong dreams of becoming a famous rock n’ roll drummer (a dream all bunnies tend to have) when Easter Island’s top secret candy factory is invaded by the fluffy Carlos. His fellow chick workers are up to no good!

You assume the role of Fred, who helps E.B. infiltrate the occupied factory and take it back. Not only will there be platforming action, but puzzles will need to be solved and enemies will try to take you down as well. Good thing you can sugar shock them and transform them into tasty chocolate treats. From chocolate super-soakers to gumball shooters and cotton candy cannons, there’s a large range of weapons to choose from here.

With 3D arenas taken straight from the film and a vast range of mini-games to play including Whack-a-Bunny and a classic Easter Egg Hunt, Hop will be just the treat you need when you can’t stuff any more chocolate into your face. more
