Summary
It’s high time this domesticated bird took to the skies and went on holiday - especially considering he’s originally from the tropics himself! Blu the Macaw is a domesticated sort, and as a result is generally a pretty shy type. But his life is thrown upside down when he decides to take a trip to Rio de Janeiro to meet Jewel, the only other bird of his species.
This is the story behind the upcoming hit movie Rio, and the basis behind this video game tie-in. For shortly after meeting Jewel for the first time, Blu is kidnapped by some nasty animal smugglers, and the plucky hero will have to learn how to act like a real bird to escape from his prison!
In this version of the video game, you can play your way through an intense rhythmic adventure game that tests your ability to keep with the funky beats of the tropical resort. Journey through 20 different levels and seven colourful locations, as Blu navigates the world with the help of your Nintendo DS stylus.
