Summary

Known in Japan as “Shirokishi Monogatari Episode Portable: Dogma Wars”, this RPG has been given the western treatment and appears here as White Knight Chronicles: Origins and, as that name suggests, it acts as the prequel to 2008’s White Knight Chronicles.

This PSP version – the first ever incarnation of White Knight Chronicles on that platform – is set some 10,000 years before the events of the original PS3 game. It comes with more than 30 hours of play in the single player campaign along with collaborative online play for up to four like-minded gamers.

As well as playing out the quests and adventures of hero protagonist Leonard both offline and online, players can also trade quests and avatars with others gamers.

Developed by RPG gaming experts Matrix Corp, the PSP game puts the player in the midst of a terrible global combat where they must do battle with the vast and vastly aggressive Knights of the Yshrenia - this, of course, is a switch around from the premise of the original PS3 title.
