Summary
Shinobi sees the return of the classic SEGA ninja series made famous on the SEGA Mega Drive. Staying true to the classic side-scrolling gameplay players have loved since the original, Shinobi returns on the 3DS by implementing all new 3D visuals to bring the series up to date.
Using Streetpass, players will be able to compare their score with others around the world in an attempt to battle their way to the top of the online rankings.
Following the story of Jiro Musashi, leader of the Oboro Clan and father of the original series protagonist Joe Musashi, players must defeat an ancient and evil clan who have betrayed Jiro. Players will have the chance to become a true ninja legend by mastering the new combo system, switching beween melee, ranged and acrobatic attacks.
Jiro is a one man killing machine, but he still needs to rely on his ninja magic to get an advantage over all the enemies in his path. Travelling through these all new exotic locations, players will be able to unlock a host of achievements and complete a set of challenge maps.
