Summary

An adventure, role-playing game from Japanese developers Compile Hearts (creator of Cross Edge, among other titles) Agarest: Generations of War Zero is set in a world where the Scarred Mountains separate the once warring Gods of Darkness and of Light.

Agarest: Generations of War Zero takes the gamer back beyond the beginning of that fateful conflict, to its very origins. In fact, you go right back to the period preceding the previous title, Agarest Generations Of War, the 2009 PS3 game. The gamer takes the role of Sieghart, a young officer from the Armies of Light. After he meets a strange girl his fate is changed forever and sealed by battle.

With an estimated 80 hours of turn-based combat and exploration, Agarest: Generations of War Zero makes use of the tactical Card Skill System, which enables players to direct and experience the exploits of the hero – a hero that they must first create and customise. This is joined by the Soul Breed System from the previous Agarest title that enables the player to choose a bride in order to create the next generation of Light Warriors.

The game comes with brand new character animations, drawn and created specifically for this title.
