Summary
Even in the Wii’s twilight years, Nintendo is providing games that will satisfy the most hardcore of gamers. It might have taken a while, but it’s making good on its promise to take care of its core fans as well as the Wii Fit generation. And Pandora’s Tower is one stunning RPG treat - you play as soldier Aeron as he battles to save his beloved friend Elena from a curse that is transforming her into a demonic creature.
How does Aeron rescue Elena? By tackling the forces found within the towers of a nearby fortress. By bringing Elena the “master flesh” - or the meat from the vanquished monsters within - to eat, she can recover from a gruesome fate. You have to time your adventures to and from Elena as a result - leaving her in bed too long without any food will end your quest as she transforms into a horrific beast.
So multiple, tactical trips must be made between towers and Elena to ensure she is constantly supplied with the right cures throughout your adventure. Select which items to give to Elena, and when, resulting in multiple possible endings and various twists in the evolving relationship between the two friends.
Do you spend time with her and build a stronger bond? Or do you spend all your time killing monsters so she can get better? The ultimate ending could hinge on your every decision. The choice is truly yours.
