Summary

This 'Point & Click' adventure game is set in the gloriously adventurous 17th Century in the exotic and dangerous Caribbean paradise of Bounty Island. Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle sets the player the task of buckling some action swash as well as solving some puzzles and discovering hidden treasures.

The player's role is that of Morgane Castillo - a confident and feisty girl - whose life changes radically at the age of eight. Following the disappearance of her Uncle Eduardo (who was lost at sea) and the death of her mother, Bonita Castillo, she is taken to sea by her pirate father, Alessandro.

He teaches Morgane his pirate ways and on her 17th birthday and she is tasked with rounding up a new crew for her ship. The gamer must carry out this task while also searching for a suitable cargo to transport as Morgane. Once these jobs are completed the player must take full responsibility for ship, crew and cargo on an adventurous voyage.

This entails searching the bars and taverns to find the right crew before encountering a wealthy merchant by the name of Thomas Briscoe who wishes to hire the player's ship to hunt for a mysterious treasure known as the "Golden Turtle".

During this adventure the player will learn more than they could have expected about Uncle Eduardo, and will discover Turtle Island.

The game is played out over five different islands where the player will interact with 40 colourful and exotic characters in 50 beautiful locations.

The game is written by Steve Ince, award winning writer of adventure game 'Broken Sword'.
